Duration of Breast Lift
A breast lift surgery can last anywhere between 3 to 4 hours.

A breast lifts is a procedure that can be made with a few standard incisions. Typically it is conducted via an incision that goes around the nipple and down to the breast crease. Surgery
Your surgeon will make the incisions according to a pre-discussed plan. Through these incisions your surgeon will reshape ne reposition the Breast, nipples and areola. All the excess skin will be removed giving the breasts a firmed lifted appearance.
Post Surgery
After the operation, our team will monitor your recovery in terms of heart rate and oxygen levels for 30 minutes before transferring you to your room.
There will be bandages covering your breasts so it’s difficult to see the final results just yet. Your surgeon will also place a draining tube around the incisions to remove excess fluid discharge. Depending on the amount of fluid your body is releasing, your doctor will remove these drains between an average period of 24 to 72 hours. The patient leaves the operating room with a dressing on the entire chest area.
As for the scars, they will begin to gradually turn pale and approach skin color during a maturation period of 6 months to 2 years. However, some people who have a tendency for keloids may develop excessive scarring. Post-operative dressings will be done as often as your doctor deems appropriate.
Breast Lift Recovery
Your surgeon will remove the surgical sutures usually 10-7 days after surgery around the nipples and the crease. You can shower after the first 72 hours from surgery, and your doctor may recommend that you take a shower with special waterproof dressing materials if necessary. However, it is absolutely prohibited to enter the pool or sea until the stitches are removed. This is usually a temporary condition and may take up to 6-12 months to clear. In some cases, bruises will appear in the area and these disappear within 2-1 weeks. You may return to your daily life after the operation from 1 to 3 weeks after surgery depending on the procedure, wound healing, and your tolerance.
